With Dina Cerbone, 200 RYT
Come join us as we connect the movements of our Yoga practice with dancing, allowing ourselves to free our minds and bodies through fun and creative movements! This 5-week series led by Dina will incorporate multiple dance and yoga levels and styles for you to learn. EVERYBODY is welcome to these classes, but should attend the class(es) that best fits his/her level of experience: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. All students of higher levels are welcome and encouraged to take the lower level classes, as well! We all know the wonderful effects that Yoga has on our bodies and minds, and when we combine them with something as beautiful as dancing, we can learn how to loosen up the body in a whole different and creative way. Come challenge yourself! Each class will have a different routine! Check out my Facebook page, Dina Marie Dance and Yoga for more details on what we will work on each week before attending class.
Styles of dance will include elements from Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip-Hop.
The first two classes (September 17 and 24) will be beginner level; the second two classes (October 15 and 22) will be intermediate level; the last class (October 29) will be advanced level. If you are unsure of your experience level, try a lower level class first, or contact me to discuss your experience.
Please wear comfortable, form fitting clothing that will allow you to move freely. If you have dance shoes, you are welcome to bring them, but they are not necessary; bare feet, sneakers, or socks work just fine.
