200 RYT, Reiki Master, LMT
Suzanne has been practicing yoga since she was a little girl when she found solace in Asana (poses). At this young age, she was not yet aware of the yoga path. As an adult, she has made a commitment to continue studying the yoga path for life. Suzanne is a yoga instructor, Reiki Master, and Massage Therapist. After graduating from Georgian Court University with a degree in Holistic Health, she went on to obtain her Yoga Certification in 2003, and received her registered yoga teacher certificate from Yoga Alliance in 2017. She has taught a variety of classes including: Hatha, Restorative, Prenatal, and Gentle. Her classes combine mediation, pranayama (breath work), centering oneself, and mindful-movement. Combining yoga movement and breath work, has been the hallmark of her personal journey for the past 19 years. She has been teaching meditation and yoga to the elderly and children, and feels honored to share this time tested practice for its therapeutic benefits. For Suzanne, the most important part of yoga is using the breath to let go of stress stored in the body and bringing the body into balance. This is how she found Kundalini to be the most beneficial type of yoga. Kundalini has been the most transforming practice for her own life, and she is grateful to see it bring peace and vibrancy to her students. She looks forward to immersing herself in the yoga experience and obtaining her Masters in Holistic Health when her three boys are grown. She believes being a Mom has been her most humbling experience. Suzanne feels blessed to share peace with others and is always inspired by the compassion, understanding, and love the yoga practice births in people.
