Coming from a fast-paced medical profession, Nicole originally turned to yoga for a sense of peace and balance as a way to manage anxiety and stress. On the mat, she found stability and strength by linking breath to posture in yoga’s moving meditation. When she felt pulled in the directions of the past or the future, yoga helped Nicole to stay present in the moment.
Nicole completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Spiritual Journey Wellness Center in June 2016. She feels honored to be able to guide her students through practice, allowing them to turn inward, find a deeper connection to themselves, and tap into the inner strength and peace that is often hiding under the surface. The central theme to Nicole’s classes is mindfulness and being present in the moment. Whether you enjoy a meditative yin class, a gentle yoga class, or a moderately paced flow class, Nicole encourages her students to come away with a renewed sense of peace, calm, strength, and love that can be shared with the world.
