Faith’s love of yoga began with her very first class 15 years ago. She began her teacher training to deepen her own practice, but quickly realized how fulfilling teaching yoga was for her. Faith completed her 200 hour certification in June 2016 at Spiritual Journey Wellness Center. She believes yoga should be accessible to every body; with that belief in mind, Faith studied Aqua Kriya Yoga with Camella Nair (Swami Nibhrtananda) receiving certification to teach yoga in the water. With the guidance of her mentor Ellen Cassaro (E-RYT) Faith continues to develop and improve her skills for teaching chair yoga, as well. Her style of teaching focuses on the spiritual with fun and laughter. She teaches Chair, Gentle, Slow Flow and Aqua Kriya Yoga styles.

The focus of this class is body awareness by learning how to adjust and prop YOUR yoga postures, making yoga asana practice accessible for every body. The teacher will instruct you on how to use chairs, blocks, straps, and the wall to feel your best as you flow through an active gentle class format. This class is open to all.
An Active Gentle Yoga class is appropriate for all beginner students, those students returning to yoga, or those who prefer a gentler paced class. . .
Frequently the Chair Yoga student is unable to participate in a traditional yoga class due to the effects of aging or disabilities. However, Chair Yoga is a great practice for everyone, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens personal body awareness. . .
This class consists of stretches, movement, and postures that calm the sympathetic nervous system, helpful in de-stressing mind and body. . .
Find space and peace as you are guided through a moderately paced, Vinyasa style series of postures linked to your breath. . .
The focus of this practice is to bring forth a sense of balance on and off the mat. A beautiful joining of Yang and Yin, effort and surrender. This practice will help the student understand the stillness in movement and the flow in stillness. . .
