Chakra Yoga

Eastern philosophy teaches us that there are seven main energy centers, or wheels, within the body called chakras. These seven chakras correlate to different areas of the body, and control our levels of physical and emotional health. A series of standing, seated, and reclining postures will be designed to balance, align, and open the chakras, allowing the energy to flow properly throughout the body. Classes will vary each time; either focusing on balancing an individual chakra or working with all seven chakras to harmonize the body’s energy centers. Class will close with a savasana that includes Reiki energy work, healing stone crystal work, and occasional aromatherapy. Appropriate for all levels.
